Chris
Personal Win:
Had an awesome date with his wife, Sam. They went out and had a nice dinner and then went for some live music at McMenamin's Undercroft.  However, when he was looking at live music for the undercroft, he ended up looking at an undercroft in Maryland.  The company was amazing, the music was basically not even there.

Personal Development:
Chris and Sam had Monday as their day off for a long time, but then Chris started working with a group from out of town on a project and needed to work the standard week.  They had not been very good about taking a solid day off until this week.  When they moved their day off back to Monday.  #takeadayoff

He is also listening to a variety of podcasts, but "On Purpose" and "School of Greatness" always have something for him.  This week the biggest thing was around Fitness and soreness NOT being a good thing.

Dog Win:
A new client signed up.  It's  Shiba Inu and tied for the most fearful dog Chris has ever seen.  The dog is so afraid of everyone and everything, that it won't even let its owner touch him even to take off the harness he came with.  He is excited to see the transformation over the next few months.

Business Win:
The new CRM system Charlo is considering is likely going to work and make life so much easier for the Charlo management team.  This may mean some slight changes for you, but it's about dog training and anything Charlo can do to enable us to train more dogs, which is a good thing!

Jacqueline
Personal Win:
Went on a day date with her fiancé to the arts festival in Lake Oswego.

Dog Win:
Client pup, Ava, who is fear reactive towards dogs, is making great progress and confidence around dog distractions in lessons!

Raised over $500 for Oregon Dog Rescue for our Dog Yoga class at the park! Also very thankful for her fiancé teaching the yoga class for the event.

This week has been a little hectic with her dog Ashe getting spayed. Trying to manage a Shepherd, who is typically high energy, when they are supposed to be recovering poses some challenges. She feels like she grew as a dog owner this week being able to work around temporary health restrictions and keeping her dog happy, while in the meantime, she's recovering from surgery.

Dog Win:
Puppy Project, Henry! He is about to complete his Puppy Program and return home to his family. It is nice to see how capable and far a puppy can go with good training and a reminder that dogs and their ability to learn shouldn't be underestimated.

Ellie

Dog Win:
Snoopy is an excellent board and train and learns super quickly. He's progressing quickly!

Sam
Personal win:
We went camping again with her best friend and a bunch of other families. There were about 10 kids under the age of 7 and they all played and got along so well! . All the adults stayed up late while the kids went to bed in the tents and we got to enjoy sitting by the fire and just having fun conversations. Lots of laughs and a great time!
Dog win/ business win:
Grateful to have a team that allowed them go for a weekend and have things continue to run. A few years ago it wouldn’t have been possible for them to leave because we would have had all the dogs. Sam and Chris rarely went on vacation or took little trips because we couldn’t leave the dogs. We’ve had the opportunity to take a few trips in the last month and we’re very grateful!
Personal development:
Reading the book, How to win friends and influence people, also reading Eat to Beat Your Diet which is about using foods to work for your body instead of against you.
Enjoyed a particular podcast by Ed Mylett on  how to defeat fear and live free.  He talks about how we can control our lives with our thoughts. How powerful our thoughts are and how you can change your entire life if you focus on what you want. Focusing on it will train your brain to look for how to get that life- how to find ways to make it happen. Our thoughts are extremely powerful and we have to take our thoughts captive and realize when they’re serving us and when they are hurting us.

Personal Development: Still reading Never Finished by David Goggins. He talked about maximizing minimal potential through recognizing that the pains in  life are something that can be faced. He emphasized that people tend to learn how to lie or cheat in order to find the simple and easy fixes in life if it means keeping the reality of the suffering one might be dealing with.

Ellie
Personal: Finally moved into  her new apartment! Just finishing up some cleaning at the old place and setting up in the new place.

Chris

Business: Now has full ownership of Grahamity and its assets from the other company.  Very proud of everyone on the team, and we are helping so many families with their dogs  right now!

Personal Development: The 10x rule. It’s basically about putting in the extra effort above and beyond the normal effort to accomplish your goals.  Basically “don’t be a slacker,” which the theme is a good reminder.

Sam
Personal win:  Finished a second novel in the past month! She typically reads personal development books, so finishing a second novel was fun and different.

Dog win:  Having lots of launch dogs at the training space and on the books to come! Also Logan getting to work with Winnie- he loves when he’s needed to help with the dogs!

Personal development:  Bought the book How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie.
He is talking about how we all have to fix our focus on interactions with people. The natural tendency is to be focused on what I can get out of the intersection instead of what can I give in this interaction. Giving a compliment, or praise to the other person. Also bringing enthusiasm to everything you do- getting other people to feel your enthusiasm and excitement.

Jacqueline
Personal Win: Did a short trip to bend with her fiancé and pups! Had a nice time enjoying one of their places.

Personal: Colton (her newborn) is eating solid foods now and is  loving all the flavors!

Kass
Personal Win: Making progress in organizing her  living space, which includes an art station that is away from the distraction of her computer/games. Developing artistic skill takes time, but distractions also take time away as well.

Dog Win: Finn the Golden-Doodle. He recently returned home after completing the board and train launch program and his family couldn't be more happy with having a dog that now loves to listen, while still being the dog they sent away for 2 weeks to engage in training.

Personal Development: Started to read the book Never Finished by David Goggins. He's a retired NAVY SEAL and the only member of the US armed forces to complete NAVY SEAL training, Army Ranger School, and Air Force Tactical Air Controller Training. After reading the first chapter, and can already tell where this man is coming from in terms of his outlook on life and how paper thin a lot of uplifting concepts can be like hope and belief. He spoke on how potential is often limited by the hardships of life and the mental beat down people put on themselves when resistance shows up to stop their goals and self development, and more often than not, that mental beatdown can tear through belief in one's self and make hope fade and we end up back to the same person we were before we wanted to change. Those same feelings that first inspired us to try to change coming back even worse than before.

Ellie
Personal Win: Had a fairly low key weekend. Spent some time with friends and just hung out.
